Hürriyet, Demokrasi ve İslam Kardeşliği – Fikret Yüksel
Özet
Demokrasi herkesin kanunlar önünde eşit olduğu, her ne sebeple olursa
olsun kimsenin kimseye üstün olmadığı yönetim biçimidir. Her ülke veya
toplum kendi kalıplarına ve kendi örfüne göre demokrasiyi tarif edip şekillendirmekle
birlikte genel yaklaşım olarak hak ve hürriyetlerin etkili biçimde
korunması ve yaşanması bu sistemin genel özelliğidir. Bu noktada Batılı
bir kavram olan demokrasinin İslam’la ilişkisi çokça sorgulanan bir durumdur.
Bu çalışmada hem bu soruya cevap verilmekte hem de demokrasinin
İslam kardeşliğine nasıl hizmet edeceği ele alınmaktadır.

Abstract
Democracy is a form of governance in which everyone is equal before
the law and no one is superior to anyone for whatever the reason. While
each country or society defines and shapes democracy according to its own
social patterns and traditions, it is the general characteristic of this system
that the rights and freedoms as a general approach are protected and
lived effectively. At this point, the relationship of the democracy as a western
concept with Islam is widely questioned. This study tries to answer this
question and how democracy serves the Islamic brotherhood.
