Bediüzzaman Said Nursî’s Medresetuzzehra Project has the qualities
to mobilize the dynamics that will end the “ignorance, poverty and dissension”
which he determined them as the biggest problems of the Islamic
geography. It will also produce permanent solutions to the decline of the
Islamic societies in the last few centuries. In this context, Medresetüzzehra,
an educational project that Bediuzzaman has reinforced it with art, ingenuity
and alliance, is also a matter to be discussed as a civilization thought.
We had the opportunity to deal with the Medresetüzzehra, which in
the earlier issue we mentioned it as ‘a civilization project’, in many aspects.
In this issue, we continue to discuss the Medresetuzzehra, which we have
considered as a project with possibilities for the solution of the problems of
the Islamic geography.
One of the distinguishing features of Medresetuzzehra is “being based
on the principle that the science of religion and science are taught together”.
And so this will give its students the ability to take care of the letters
of the universe and will give a peace to the students of the modern age in
their relationship with Allah. Medresetuzzehra opens the doors of economic
and spiritual development by bringing together religion and consciousness
on the same line, establishing the bonds of brotherhood by cutting
off the root of nationalism.

As a continuation of the previous issue, many aspects of the Medresetuzzehra
in terms of Islamic Unity, how to end the battle between religion
and science, basic educational objectives, and how to contribute the
lore dimension of education are discussed in this issue. We hope that these
studies will contribute to Bediuzzaman’s ideal of work on the subject of
Medresetuzzehra. We wish to be present with the announcements of the
